Dear Potential Wilmot Farmers Market Vendor,

The board welcomes your interest in our market.   The Wilmot Farmers Market has become a community hub filled with sights, sounds, and tastes to nourish, please, and entertain the entire family.  Residents and visitors alike return week after week, season after season, to purchase the best of the best direct from farm and producer, plus greet old friends, make new ones, enjoy a hot breakfast or lunch, and listen to music on the bandstand featuring area musicians.

The season will begin on Saturday June 23rd, operating every Saturday from 9am-noon through September 29th.   The market is held rain or shine.  Your commitment to being present is crucial to maintaining a full and successful market.    An application and guidelines are available at wilmotfarmersmarket.com.   The board will send a copy by request if necessary.

The early bird payment fee is $120 for full time vendors (those that agree not to miss more than 3 of the 15 markets).  After March 1st, full time vendor fees for returning or new vendors is $140.  Returning full time vendors submitting applications with payments by the deadline maintain their priority for this season.  Part time vendor fees are $20/market for the first 6 markets you attend, followed by a reduced fee of $15/market for the remaining markets with a seasonal cap of $150.

The majority of market planning will be done in the next few months.  Getting applications in on time is essential to be considered as a vendor on opening day.   To allow the market board members, vendors themselves, to focus on their respective businesses on market day, the board requests that complaints be submitted in writing rather than in person on market days.  Market day emergencies should be directed to board member, Sean Sullivan from Good Enough Farm.

All vendors are asked to help promote and advertise the market, whether it be through social media or in your own brochure or website. We encourage you to “like” the Wilmot Farmers Market on Facebook; to share your events on our page and push the like button when WFM tags you in posts.

Check the website after a few weeks of your acceptance to verify your information on the “meet your local vendors” page at   www.wilmotfarmersmarket.com.   If changes are needed, please email Donna @ donnaardena@gmail.com .If you have any questions about the market, please don’t hesitate to contact board chair, Christine St. Clair @ 938-2416   or christinestclair103@gmail.com. We look forward to having you join our market family.
